Here, I was messing with shading, background tiles, etc.
The lines of the Dire Wolf / Daishi 'Mech are edited from a scan of a Steve Venters BattleTech diagram.
Diashi (Russian for Death) FTW! Sorry, I played the mech-warrior series on a 95, and the Diashi/Shadowcat were my two main 'mechs. The Diashi, when you load it with a big enough engine, armor, ERPPC's and X-10 auto-cannons (ammo space permitting) is not one that you'll want to meet on the other side of the battlefeild. Or you could do 1-hit-KO tactic and just load it up with jump-jets and flamers (this of course means that you have to run faster than belief the moment you hit them, hoping that the engine doesn't overheat because of the flamers' heat return). Or you could snipe with a Shadowcat, best engine, no armor, some light gauss cannons, master radar and targeting software. (my second favorite mech because of it's speed)

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
